Why we visit
Travel, reduced mobility, unfamiliar settings or support needs can make routine eye care difficult to arrange. Our service brings professional portable testing equipment to homes and care settings, so the appointment can take place somewhere familiar.
Care shaped around the person
We offer NHS-funded home sight tests for eligible patients and private home tests at £60. Our services include care home visits, children’s appointments and support for people with autism or learning disabilities. We discuss individual needs before the visit.
Clear explanations matter
We want patients, families and carers to understand what is happening, what the findings mean and what should happen next. Tell us if there is a communication preference or adjustment that would help. A relative or support worker can be involved where appropriate.
